Sh. Vikas Gupta, IAS, Commissioner
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2026, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the entire teaching fraternity across the country.
Today, as the world of education is transforming rapidly, the essence of teaching remains timeless. Across Kendriya Vidyalayas, our teachers continue to serve the cause of education with dedication, commitment and an unwavering spirit
Mrs. Sona Seth
Deputy Commissioner
We are living in a world which is opening new avenues every passing day. To match pace with this rapid change, we, as educators, need to be prompt in adapting latest trends to cater to the modern needs. We must create an ambience which nurtures the latent talent of our future generations. School education lays the foundation of a successful society and onus lies upon us to excel in our endeavours to pave the path. However, this is a long strenuous journey which requires motivation, indefatigable effort and perseverance to accomplish our goals. I am glad and feel privileged to have a team which works with great zeal and enthusiasm and makes every goal attainable. The enormity of the task could never wane their indomitable spirit. On the contrary, every new challenge motivated them to toil harder and exert themselves to attain newer heights. Nurturing a vibrant ambience in the schools and maintaining a learning environment are the key elements in achieving our coveted goal of universal quality educations. This great challenge could never be accomplished without concerted efforts of the leaders of various Vidyalayas of Lucknow Region, the Principals who not only Provide and looking after the basic infrastructural needs of students but also pilot a squad of highly talented teachers and ensure a pro-active participation of all the stake-holders, viz. students, parents, etc. As we are familiar that Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan takes pride in providing quality education to the students, I am confident that with the combined efforts of our dedicated team members and with the blessings of our patrons we will continue to evolve and reach the pinnacle of success. The increasing challenge of training young minds will not be able to daunt our spirit and we will leave no stone unturned to ensure physical, mental, social, cultural and spiritual development of budding citizens of India.

“The whole purpose of education is to teach the child the way to think and not what to think”. We believe that this is the fundamental truth and it has always been the endeavour of the school to instil right values in its students so that they develop a holistic personality and are ready to take on the challenges head on once they step out of the gates of the Vidyalaya. We have set out on an elevating and stimulative journey with the aim of providing our children an exclusive learning experience by teaching them to march ahead with positive attitude, skill, confidence, sensitivity and responsibility. The unmatched and impressive heights of glory at which our school stands today bears testimony to the fact the school is fiercely committed to pursue excellence in all the fields, be it in academia, sports, ethics or aesthetics. In this contemporary world where cut throat competition has become a part and parcel of life, it is of supreme importance that we teach our children to be competent enough to stand tall amongst others with their extraordinary skills and come out victorious from the realms of this challenging labyrinth. With the visions of National Education Policy and as one of the units of mighty Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan ; We emanate and sprinkle an atmosphere where each child receives love, care, dignity and acceptance.
