Various programs were organized in PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Balrampur from April to January under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.
In the month of April, song and instrumental singing related to Meghalaya was organized at the school level.
In the month of June, a program of folk dance of Meghalaya was organized at the school level.
In the month of July, a competition was organized for students to write and speak sentences based on Garo Khasi languages.
In the month of August, cultural program folk songs, folk dance and group songs based on Meghalaya were organized at the cluster level. Apart from this, an exhibition was organized at the cluster level in which various topics related to Meghalaya were displayed.
Video conferencing was conducted with the state of Meghalaya in the month of September.
Bharatnatyam classical dance was presented by the students of class 12 and Garba folk dance was also presented.
Apart from this, girl students also participated in activities related to folklore, 2D and 3D art, toy making.
Group folk song and folk dance whose theme was Meghalaya was also presented by the students.
In the month of October, National Unity Day and the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel were celebrated with great pomp and students participated in various activities.
In the month of November, students participated in speech, debate, essay writing and quiz programs about Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties and the Preamble of the Constitution.
Under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, students of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Balrampur exchanged information with the students of Meghalaya on socio-cultural festivals, costumes, food, folk songs and folk dances and other subjects through video conferencing. And under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, a painting and drawing competition related to the freedom fighters of India was organized.
